DINING AT THE HOTEL WINDSOR
The Windsor's dining offerings are helmed by Executive Chef, Tom Brockbank, and Executive Pastry Chef, Jeremie Parmentier. One Eleven is a gathering place for all things culinary, serving an a-la-carte breakfast, our renowned Afternoon Tea, and a Gin and Wine Bar in the evenings, with dinner and Pre-Theatre dining options. Within the hotel you'll also find the historic Cricketers Bar, a cosy space featuring an English-Australian gastropub menu, a selection of tap and craft beers, spirits and wine.
Around the corner with entry on Bourke Street, you'll also find newly-opened Lekker! - a neo bistro serving Modern Australian-Dutch delights, led by Head Chef Rob Kabboord. The Melbourne heritage hotel also has an award-winning restaurant off Little Bourke Street, Sunda _ , which beautifully combines modern South East Asian flavours with native Australian ingredients, by Head Chef, Khanh Nguyen.
Lekker! is a part-Australian, part-Dutch neo-bistro, here for summer, and then some.
Expect a sharply-dressed set menu with choices, an optional cheese course and an excellent wine list that can be matched or enjoyed by the bottle or glass. There’s also a bar menu with a smattering of Dutch (think bitterballen), best matched with wine.
Inspired by the flavours of the region it is named after, our off-site restaurant, SUNDA _, is a multi award winning modern South East Asian establishment set amongst the city’s buzzing laneways. It is just a 3 minute walk from the hotel, and in the heart of the theatre precinct.
