Summer EXP by SUNDA _ is a semi-permanent restaurant nestled on the ground floor of The Windsor (1 Bourke Street) with an Italian meets Southeast Asian menu and alfresco dining on the corner of Bourke and Spring streets.
Executive Chef Khanh Nguyen has pulled out all stops, drawing together the two cuisines in a spur of the moment inspiration. Unlike SUNDA _, Summer EXP’s menu is a bit more loose and a bit more casual (though no less creative) - designed for long summer evenings, and a drink and graze.
Think pastas with Asian sauces, Asian dishes with Italian ingredients like ‘nduja and bottarga and a Vietnamese spin on tiramisu. Playful, fun and relaxed is the modus operandi.
As the name suggests, Summer EXP by SUNDA _ is intended to last for as long as the season. Walk-ins are welcome, though bookings are recommended.
